Mans al Terra is the crystallisation of a collective idea that was generated at the beginning of 2022 from the group that drives a community composting project, Albal Circular. This group is part of the association Del Camp a la Taula, which has been working on soil regeneration through regenerative agriculture since 2019.
In this period of time there have been several spaces in which effort, knowledge, work and enthusiasm have been contributed to their regeneration. However, due to a change of opinion on the part of the owners, these practices have been abandoned, leaving the energy used up to that moment in nothing, or almost nothing. The regenerative processes are long processes that require persistence in the use and management that are carried out. This is why the germ of Mans al Terra was born, a collective fund for the collection of land under a figure of collective ownership and the application of regenerative techniques in the long term, without ownership being a limiting factor.
For the moment, Mans al Terra is an association that has been created as a tool for the prototyping of the construction of the fund, the community around it and the acquisition of the first lands. Subsequently, the aim is to convert it into a Community Foundation that maintains ownership of the land collected and makes it available to groups and entities, on a cession of use basis, to develop personal or business projects based on the regeneration of the land.
